About the Uccelin Foundation
The Uccelin Foundation was founded in 2015
by Sarah and Andreas Caminada with a clear mission:
to support motivated chefs and passionate service professionals on their path to excellence.
“It is very important to us to individually foster ambitious talent in the gastronomic industry by providing financial and mentoring support. We founded the Uccelin Foundation before the challenging time in the gastronomy sector and today we are pleased that the foundation's work is bearing fruit and that we have already been able to accompany over 100 scholarship holders."

About us
We connect emerging culinary talents with our trusted network of partners. This way, curiosity and passion meet expertise and experience. Throughout the five-month programme, we provide ongoing support to our scholarship holders – alongside the restaurants and producers they have selected.
Some facts
Our tailor-made foundation programmes give scholarship holders the chance to explore the global world of gastronomy – working with top restaurants and producers across every continent.
To date, more than 100 scholarship programmes have been successfully completed.
Currently, over 70 Michelin star restaurants worldwide host our scholarship holders for four weeks each.
The Uccelin Foundation also collaborates with more than 30 sustainable partner producers, offering one-week placements that provide valuable behind-the-scenes insights.
Private donors and patrons are essential to funding our mission. The Uccelin Foundation hosts at least one annual charity event, which plays a vital role in supporting our programmes.
At the end of the programme, each scholarship holder develops a final product designed to generate additional income for the foundation. To date, three Uccelin products are available for purchase.
